Therapeutic modalities often used:

-Mindfulness and acceptance techniques, as well as the brain-based therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), are evidence-based methods that I have found most helpful when supporting clients with anxiety.

-Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) can help in allowing challenging thoughts, sensations, and emotions to be present, while focusing on a commitment to your personal values

-Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR) focuses on changing the way traumatic memories are stored in the brain in order to reduce distressing symptoms

I offer telehealth and outdoor individual counseling services to women in WA state who are struggling with anxiety.
