Welcome! I am so glad that you are here. I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Bellingham, WA. I offer telehealth and outdoor individual counseling services to adults in WA state who are struggling with anxiety.

About

I’m passionate about working with people who struggle with anxiety. I, too, experience anxiety and this used to keep me from pursuing my passions. I became devoted to helping others with this issue after I addressed and worked through my own struggles with it.

What I love most about my work with clients is helping people gain a sense of control over their response to anxiety so that they can live in a calmer and more balanced way. Sometimes this entails digging deeper under the surface to uncover and heal deep emotional wounds that contribute to present anxiety, and sometimes this means using acceptance and mindfulness strategies to allow discomfort, while continuing to live a meaningful life.

Anxiety is undeniably challenging, but it does not define you. Together, we can explore the complexities of your experience, find meaning in your struggles, and cultivate a sense of empowerment that allows you to reclaim your life. Healing is a journey, and it’s not one that you have to undertake on your own. My role is to walk alongside you, providing support, understanding, and guidance as you work toward greater peace and self-acceptance.

Outside the Office

Outside the office, I love traveling and spending time in nature. Some outdoor pursuits that I enjoy are gardening, climbing, hiking, and mountain biking. It is a privilege to live in a state with so many options for outdoor enjoyment and avenues to sharing these activities with others. Spending quality time with family and friends is also important to me, whether it’s going on an adventure or cozying up inside and watching a funny movie together. In the rainy months, nothing beats reading a good fiction book and drinking a cup of coffee or tea with my pup, Kava, by my side.
